Ontario Life Assurance is a fast-growing, Keswick, ON-based company that provides a complete product and service solution to its customers. We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team and help us expand our business in Keswick, ON.
Job Description:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the sales process from prospecting to closing with the goal of achieving sales goals and objectives. You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to generate leads, close sales, and maintain customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to build relationships with key decision-makers in the market.
- Prospecting and identifying potential customers through various channels such as cold calling, networking, social media, email marketing, etc.
- Conduct research on potential customers’ needs and competitive landscape.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within your target markets.
- Conduct face-to-face negotiations with potential customers in order to close sales.
- Track all sales activities in CRM system.
- Meet or exceed sales goals monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current market conditions and developments.
- Assist with production of marketing materials such as brochures, fact sheets, trade show presentations, etc. (as needed).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
·Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred; or equivalent work experience in Business Administration or related field preferred.
·Proven experience in prospecting & identifying new business opportunities through up-selling/SALES/market research; CRM knowledge; ability to build productive business relationships; negotiation skills; time management skills; organizational skills; excellent written/oral communication skills; negotiation skills; time management skills; critical thinking skills; problem solving skills; confidence/ability to take risks; initiative/autonomy/independence/decisiveness mindset; ability to work under pressure/manage time well; computer proficiency (MS Office applications); bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
* This is a commission and bonus position, and while it is not salaried, typical first-year entry-level agents average $40,000 - $60,000
