You will use evidenced-informed nursing knowledge, skill and judgment and work within the RN scope of practice to provide holistic care. As the In-Charge RN you provide leadership to our dynamic team of registered and non-registered staff members as the day-to day health and care activities are carried out. You work in collaboration with, and the support and guidance of the Administrator, Director of Care and the Assistant Director of Care. You ensure the highest level of care is maintained.
As an active team member, the In-Charge RN also provides direct care as required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the flow of quality care provision through out the shift
- Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to
- Respond to emergency situations both resident and home related
- Liaise with the Physician, Residents and Family Members
Requirements:
- Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Excellent Critical Thinking Skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Well-developed Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Excellent Organizational Skills
- A demonstrated appreciation for Quality Improvement Processes
- A current CPR certificate
- 3 Covid vaccines

Salary: $26.19-$48.79 per hour
