Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and
grinding.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining
operations.
- Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments as required.
- Mentor and train machine operators within the department to eliminate skill set gaps through cross training and/or one-on-one training.
- Conduct regular quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure components meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and troubleshoot any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, always adhering to safety guidelines.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure their continued efficiency and longevity.
- Maintain an up-to-date record of machine cycle time using ERP system.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC machining is preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of CNC programming (MasterCam), setup, and operation.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with a variety of CNC machinery and controls (e.g., Haas, etc).
- Knowledge of tooling selection, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Shifts: Full Time Position Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Salary: $30 - $45 per hour based on experience and skill
