Sunia Technology Inc. (Vancouver) is an industry leading technology company, that is specialized in image and video processing, handwriting and hand-drawing technologies on mobile and portable devices, and providing remoting and visualization solutions in the cloud. We are looking for a talented, creative and team orientated C++ software engineer to participate in the design and development of Sunia handwriting/hand-drawing software.
Responsibilities:
- Assist software architect to design and develop system engine architecture.
- Participate in system analysis, architecture design, module coding and unit testing of the system engine.
- Research and seek out new technologies and best practices for engine function expansion and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with other team members to build compelling products.
- Produce high performance, secure, reliable, and maintainable code.
Requirements：
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in C++ software development, cross-platform development experience is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of I/O, process, thread, memory management, semaphore, mutex, message queues, TCP/IP protocols, performance and memory optimization.
- Experience in systems architecture design, including infrastructure that enables continuous integration and delivery is preferred.
- Familiar with common data structures, design patterns and algorithms, have systematic thinking and architectural abstraction capability.
- First class analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to collaborate with developers, product owners and other team members.
- Passion to work in an exciting fast-pace environment and deliver new technologies and products to the marketplace.
- Ability to learn quickly.
