You will have a key role in providing service for new and existing third-tier fuel distributors to grow our market share and contribute to the success of our business. This can be tough for many people, but for the right person, this challenge is accepted with enthusiasm.
Primarily you work alongside the Sales team as well as the Supply & Logistics group. However, you will work with every department in AFD on a regular basis, as well as external partners, vendors, and of course your customers.

Focus on prospecting and acquiring new wholesale accounts.

Maintain current distribution to wholesale customers.

Strategic planning relative to mining industry and third-tier fuel distribution growth

Evaluate current and potential customer’s needs and visit to promote AFD.

Work with the team to develop offerings and marketing materials.

Maintain knowledge on current industry trends.

Complete ROI analysis and determine product feasibility based on Company return models.

Promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of the organization both internally and externally, as well as oversee the adherence to Mission, Vision, and Values

Represent AFD in a positive professional manner working with the customer to help identify/analyze and resolve possible issues; recommend solutions.

Work with Credit department to insure all customer accounts are paid as per their agreements.

Attend conferences and trade shows as required.

Identify potential areas of technology improvement and cost saving measures.

Coordinate the introduction of new products.

Coordinate customer complaint response and technical support.

Provide input to the marketing, sales, and business teams on product quality, performance, and competitive issues as outlined by our customers.

Collect and analyze data to understand market needs.

Responsible for assisting with the development of specific market segment growth programs.

Understand and analyze Branch Financial statements to remain efficient and cost effective.

Create recognition as AFD’s Fuel solutions industry expert.

Make presentations to AFD Managers and Executives as required.

Other related duties as required or assigned.

Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and e-mail required.

Professional written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

3+ years’ sales experience within the fuel industry
-
5+ years’ experience in a sales or customer service role
-
Completion of / or working towards a Business Management or related diploma considered an asset.

High School Diploma or GED required.
