Thinkware, a premium dash cam manufacturer, is seeking a full-time Inside Sales Coordinator. This is a great opportunity for a recent undergraduate / junior professional who has acquired a deep understanding of business practices, and wishes to make a direct impact in the consumer retail world using their skills and competencies.
The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, a self-starter, and does not shy away from taking on new challenges. She/he must possess advanced verbal and written communication skills, sound numerical literacy, and adequate volunteer/job experience relevant to this position. Experience or knowledge in consumer electronics (mobile electronics, photography equipment, or automotive) is strongly desired.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming inquiries and leads
- Prepare quotes and estimates, and follow-up on all quotes
- Provide assistance to existing customers
- Update and maintain required sales documentation such as customer lists, price lists, weekly sales reports etc.
- Help manage online product listings on various platforms such as Amazon, eBay, and Best Buy (creating new listing, updating pricing, checking product description accuracy, etc.)
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to help create advertising materials such as newsletters and client presentations
- Cold emailing and cold calling potential sales leads ( less than 10% of the role's daily activities)
- Attend trade shows and support with trade-show related activities
- Additional Administrative duties as required
Desired Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree (Business related preferred)
- Strong command of the English language (written and verbal)
- Strong numerical skills
- Two-year work/volunteer experience in customer service or related experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) a must
- Self-starter, proactive and professional in demeanor
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Strong interpersonal skills with an attention to detail and organization
- Experience managing sales cycles or customer relationships would be an asset
- Keen interest in consumer electronics and / or automotive technologies desired
- Class 5 Driver’s License
- Ability to travel few times a year
Hours and Compensation
- Full time: 9:00AM – 5:00PM, Monday to Friday
- Start date: As soon as possible
- $48,000 - $55,000 a year (with benefits) depending on candidate experience with 3-month probationary period
