Health Information Technology & Business Processes
Reporting to the Manager, Health Information Technology and Business Processes, the Process Improvement Consultant (PIC) is responsible for leading process improvement methodology, and coaching and facilitating quality improvement activities across Information Technology Services, ensuring measurable, sustainable results. This role ensures best practice process improvement methodologies are continuously introduced, adopted, and updated in order to optimize delivery of secure, efficient, and quality services.
This role, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders across the system, is responsible for the development, monitoring and evaluation of evolving standards of simulation/modelling scenarios and practices. The Consultant will be heavily involved in system design, change management support, evaluation, and will be expected to assist and/or lead research pertaining to the utilization and efficacy of simulation training in a health system.
The Consultant is responsible for applying modelling expertise to support the system to maximize productivity, quality care, innovative models of care, health equity, and strives for cost-effectiveness, utilizing systematic tracking mechanisms to evaluate level of progress and accomplishments. The role serves as an expert in process improvement principles and pathway modelling, and provides coaching support to provider organizations based on model outputs.
