Type: Full Time Onsite (local) – Monday- Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm

We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and fun individual to fill the role of Sales Agent in our locally owned independent Desjardins Insurance Agency. We are a full-service agency specializing in Car, Home, Commercial and Life and Living Benefits Insurance as well as Vehicle Financing. If you are ambitious, sales oriented, and customer centric, we are interested in you.

Earning Potential:
Base Salary + Incentives + Bonus Plan
Responsibilities:
- Find new clients and increase the number of new accounts.
- Maintain relationships and review opportunities with existing accounts
- Develop and execute on our sales plan
- Represent our agency at events and networking opportunities
- Partner and mentor with agent to build knowledge and ensure top client experience
Requirements:
- Excellent communication. In this position, you're tasked with handling concerns of clients and any issues that arise with the team. It's important that you build positive relationships with clients, employees, and stakeholders.
- Persistence; when done respectfully and consistently, it breaks through. You remind clients that you are there with a solution to their problems. It gives them multiple chances to connect. And though it may take half a dozen times to get a response, land that meeting or open a discussion, they will thank you in the end
- Willingness to obtain insurance licence(s)

This is a Full-time position within a Desjardins Insurance Agency in Bradford ON, this is not a remote role.

Salary: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
