Job Title: Technical Submission Specialist – Modest Income Program
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Technical Submission Specialist who will play a crucial role in supporting the Modest Income Program by providing technical support related to program submissions, documentation, and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse Energuide initial assessment files to identify potential upgrades and potential issues that may affect upgrade installation;
- Develop work plan cost estimates for recommendation reports;
- Communicate with field staff to ensure full understanding of building conditions prior to submission of recommendations;
- Use sound building science principles to develop upgrade recommendation reports for modest income program participants in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and/or Prince Edward Island;
- Full understanding of program guidelines for modest income programs in NS, NB, and PEI;
- Maintain an organized database of client information, assessment results, and program statistics;
- Liaise with government agencies, utility companies, and contractors to ensure program alignment and compliance; and
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of required documents to regulatory bodies and funding agencies.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Certified Energy Advisor: will be a plus but not mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and reporting.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management software.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners.
- Compassion: A genuine desire to help low-income households improve their energy efficiency and reduce costs.
