thom. is an original, premium men’s salon & barbershop in downtown Vancouver that focuses on hair and grooming in a way that is currently untouched. By combining contemporary hairdressing techniques with classic barbering, we provide some of the most reliable salon and barbershop services in the city.
Responsibilities:
- Provide barbering and hairstyling services to clients, including haircuts, beard trims, and styling
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Greet and engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction
- Keep up-to-date with current hairstyles, trends, and techniques
- Recommend and sell hair care products to clients and maintain monthly targets
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a barber or stylist
- Proficient in precision scissor work, scissor over comb, razor work, fading, styling, beard work
- Knowledge of different hair types and textures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Vidal Sasoon training or equivalent
Please note that front desk operations is not required for this position.
