Intuit Inc., maker of TurboTax, the nation’s No. 1 rated, best-selling tax preparation service, is searching for a senior communications manager with strong experience in public relations, social media and influencer marketing. The right candidate will have a demonstrated track record of delivering integrated communications strategies, social campaigns, always-on social programs and influencer campaigns that drive measurable business results.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive communications experience in Canada with the ability to excel in an extremely fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead agency partners to deliver impactful campaigns. Has proven experience creating and executing innovative communications programs that have delivered a measurable increase in brand awareness, customer engagement and conversions. Is a self-starter that builds strong relationships – with internal stakeholders and agency partners – to deliver outstanding end-to-end business results with limited resources.
Qualifications:

8-10 years’ experience in an agency or corporate environment, consumer, tech or finance preferred

Experience working within an agency environment and/or leading agencies and building collaborative, productive relationships with agency partners

Strong understanding of the Canadian media landscape, key media relationships a plus

Proven experience in developing and executing innovative, impactful PR, social media and influencer strategies

This person will be responsible for partnering across the communications, marketing, strategy, legal, product and care teams to create and execute a robust integrated public relations and social media strategy against the priorities for Intuit’s Consumer Group in Canada. This role is an individual contributor and is a part of the Intuit Global Corporate Communications organization.
Key responsibilities:

Develop and deliver high-impact public relations strategy in Canada to drive category growth and product preference for TurboTax

Develop and execute social media strategy in partnership with marketing, strategy, and care, in support of key business unit goals

Drive holistic social marketing program, including: social campaigns, always-on content creation, content calendar development, paid social, and community management

Manage the influencer marketing program for TurboTax Canada, including influencer identification, brief development and content development

Lead agency partners and vendors to develop and execute impactful go-to-market strategies, across PR, social media and influencers

Partner with marketing teams to develop product messaging and launch materials

Lead proactive and reactive media relations strategy, including crisis communications

Work effectively as part of issues management team to handle crises and high-profile issues deftly, protecting and furthering company and brand reputation

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including marketing, strategy, product management, and customer support

Display excellent verbal and written communications skills, with a keen ability to engage in meaningful and productive conversations, both online and off
