As a Contract Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for coordination of contract obligations and claims management
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Limited has a flexible work arrangement policy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

For complex contracts and customer claims, ensures adherence to contract terms and full claim recovery

Performs contract analysis/reading and presents Contract and Claim Strategy for portfolio

Prepares and Updates project claim strategy defining fundamental objectives, roles, responsibilities and processes for claim management in agreement with project team

Participates in project hand-over, risk and opportunities meetings, project status meetings (internal and external) and internal approval processes (SBA) during the project execution phase when necessary and called upon by the PM

Support in identify and advising on risks and opportunities

Together with the project planner, monitors schedule changes against contractual key dates / milestones to avoid liquidated damages or enable revenue share.

In the event of a claim, ensures contractual notice periods are adhered to

Consults with and seeks advice from legal department in case of ambiguity or interpretation issues of contract clauses

In order to identify, pursue, or defend potential claims, CIM reviews event information, advises the team on the need for further records or preservation of evidence
-
Supports claim owner in notifying, assessing, assessing/defending, negotiating and monitoring identified claims and in preparing and conducting claim negotiations

Supports legal department in case of Dispute resolution and arbitration / court proceedings

Other Special Projects as assigned

Person can work from home/remotely
Required skills, experience, and education:

7+ years of relevant experience
-
Demonstrate a solid understanding of legal terminology
-
Comfortable working as part of a multidimensional team
-
Exemplify a strong attention to detail

Previous experience working with contract regulations the related laws is strongly preferred
-
Excellent communication, writing, meeting facilitation skills - Must be able to effectively communicate technical contractual information
-
Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
-
Travel as required, depending on candidate location
