The SEO Specialist is responsible and accountable for the successful creation, curating and management of relevant SEO, content for clients that meet and exceed client contract expectations.

This is a full-time position for candidates located within drive time of our Studio in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities:
- Work with clients in a variety of industries
- Develop and execute SEO projects for clients
- Meet with clients to gain an understanding of their brand, business, project and marketing objectives
- Participate in strategizing sessions with the Internal Team
- Conduct thorough SEO research on client industry topics
- Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
- Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI
- Track, report, and analyze website analytics
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
- Research and analyze competitor advertising links
- Develop and implement link building strategy
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
- Conduct SEO Audits and create strategies for optimizing key SEO elements on client websites
- Review Google Analytics/In-Platform Analytics and, based on results, make the necessary content changes to improve lead generation for clients
- Work with the Dev Team to fix technical back-end SEO issues for clients
- Manage and provide monthly/quarterly reports to clients
- Develop and execute content such as copy, multimedia articles, blog posts, email marketing campaigns and content for other digital elements
- Follow all department project management processes (Monday.com Boards, Toggl, Google Drive, Slack, Zoom and email communications)
- Stay up to date with new strategies and case studies
- Maintain up to date Toggl and Monday Boards as per department process requirements
Requirements for the role:
- Be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Marketing Graduate
- Familiar with the top social media platforms (Blogging, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram)
- Experience in design and image creation
- Experience with softwares: SEM Rush, Klaviyo, other Email/SMS softwares,
- Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.
- Experience with Canva, Sketch, or Adobe Products
- Easily learns new software (Reporting, tracking etc)
- Proficient in an Apple and Google Drive environment
