Reporting to the Senior Manager of Media, the Sr. Analyst, Consumer Insights will be responsible for providing objective, value-added customer analysis and recommendations to facilitate discussions & decisions related to total business strategy, marketing efforts and high-profile initiatives for Joe Fresh.
We’re looking for a team player who gets excited about answering difficult business problems and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get deep into the data. Our ideal candidate loves to constantly be digging into the ‘why’ and is not afraid to challenge the status quo and ask the difficult questions. You must be keen on delivering insights which have a strong bias towards action and be a storyteller.
What You’ll Do:

Day to day, work directly within the Joe Fresh marketing team while having frequent collaboration with other analysts and leads within the Growth, Insights and Analytics team who support businesses within the broader enterprise.

Synthesize large amounts of data from multiple sources, including customer transaction data, consumer & syndicated research, market share, and campaign results. Extrapolate and interpret appropriate information to deliver value add recommendations

Evolve our discipline of on-going descriptive and predictive analytics to ensure we are proactively responding to opportunities and threats that arise within our customer base

Expand report automation and dashboarding to increase data accessibility for key business stakeholders

Consult on experimentation approaches and translate results into actionable takeaways to help drive retail and ecomm growth

Spearhead the planning, execution and monitoring of A/B tests, marketing experiments and channel attribution to enable insights and recommendations to optimize media investment

Lead the creation of post campaign reports/presentations that are engaging, client-friendly, insightful incorporating best practices in data visualization and story-telling, on an adhoc/monthly/quarterly/yearly basis

Extract, review and prepare data for analysis & reporting using SQL and other tools.

Apply analytics engineering best practices to build scalable analytics infrastructure and products
What You’ll Need:
-
3+ years related work experience in an analytical role. Experience ideally in Retail, CPG industry, Consumer Finance, or Telecommunications
-
Undergraduate degree, preferably in mathematics, computer science, engineering, business or related disciplines, with a sound understanding of data analytics

Strong communication skills, adept at data-driven storytelling, and a collaborative team player.

Exceptional organizational, problem solving, critical thinking and analysis skills combined with the ability to synthesize and effectively communicate findings to all levels throughout the organization (including conveying technical concepts to nontechnical audiences)

Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, maintain focus while working on multiple complex projects
-
A strong understanding of how digital marketing channels work, how they can be integrated and how to evaluate or measure their performance
-
Sound knowledge of CRM principles and lifecycle marketing strategies (ex. customer journey, acquisition, conversion, loyalty, engagement, retention and attrition models)

Experience owning and/or contributing to advanced analytics projects (ex. Building custom attribution models, omni-channel customer journey analysis, Propensity to buy models, etc)

Experience with measuring campaign effectiveness using statistical concepts, (ex. randomized controlled trials, media mix modelling)

Expert in data manipulation and analysis using SQL is a must (experience in Python, R or similar is an asset)

Experiences with software engineering best practices like version control, refactoring code, modular code, is an asset

Experience working with Google or Adobe analytics, Media platforms (ex. Google Marketing Platforms, Meta), Email Platforms (Salesforce)

Have previously built compelling visualizations to convey key insights using tools such as Tableau, Looker, PowerBI or python libraries (ex. seaborn, matplotlib, ggplot)
