TECHNICAL SUPPORT ANALYST - LEDUC

In this salaried position, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a positive customer experience by ensuring that the service level commitments are completely met or exceeded. This individual takes pride in prioritizing and closing service tickets within the information technology team while maintaining high satisfaction with clients by resolving most issues.
Major duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage personal service ticket queue, ensuring service requests are resolved with proper ticket prioritization and management.
- Complete change and incident request tickets.
- Work with vendors to complete service requests.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Effective time management and time tracking.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
- Complete training and certifications required.
- Ability to physically perform necessary duties.
- Assisting with problem investigations and providing input to developing solutions.
- Coordinating and maintaining the recording and tracking of IT assets.
- Providing end-user hardware replacements and lifecycle refreshes.
- Participating in IT projects.
Qualifications include:
- Completion of a two-year post-secondary education in Information Technology;
- Three or more years’ experience working within IT, including the following:
- Three or more years in a service desk environment.
- Three or more years supporting Microsoft Environment (Domains, Group Policy Objects, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and Office 365).
- Valid Alberta Driver’s License;
- Basic understanding of networking;
- Understanding IT asset management, identity and access management;
- Strong problem solving skills;
- Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written and
- Ability to physically perform necessary duties.
