Responsibilities:
Develop QA from scratch to drive quality standards across engineering, production and engineering teams.-
Work with all engineering teams to drive quality. Engage with other departments and support production and artists.

Owns the quality aspect to our products

Work with internal customers who are our users including artists and engineers

Learn how artists use and view our software to improve quality

Establish expectations of quality and build tests to continuously run (automate) to decrease manual testings

Work closely with test engineers

Participate in stand-ups and scrums for each product team and provide feedback on how to improve quality and fix bugs

Establish QA process and integration working with the VP of Engineering, VP Product, and VP of Production

Continuously document to improve our internal quality standards

Work with artists who will be internal testers and coordinate testing by non-QA people
-
Utilize automation, efficiency, and processes from design to build with a focus on automation and minimize manual testing

Set up systems in bug tracking and standard best practices to use across the company

Test up a ticket system and helpdesk

Eventually, hire and lead other QA professionals
Experience Required:
5 plus years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA), support management, and automation-
Previous experience in another 3D software platform

Proven experience developing automation, test plans, and test cases

Jira, project management software, and bug reporting tools

Skilled in risk analysis and management

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Comprehensive knowledge of software development life cycle

Confident in breaking software and rebuild

Detailed oriented and critical thinking capabilities
-
Test engineering and automation experience
Bonus skills/knowledge:
Write script, code, and automation is a plus-
Test engineering and automation experience

Comfortable with CI/CD and how QA fits into that
