Qualified candidates will work in the regional office reporting to the Construction Manager. The candidate will work with and be mentored by other project managers and superintendents in the office. Extensive travel and extended time at project sites is normal for this role.
- Project Manage contracts less than $5 million dollars.
- Manages the execution of new equipment contracts from order booking through warranty.
- Directs, plans and monitors resources for project completion, assessing manpower and material requirements.
- Monitors project manager quotations of engineering and manufacturing lead times for proposals.
- Conducts regular project review meetings to follow contract performance status.
- Develops strategies for project margin improvement through order changes and reduction in costs.
- Collaborates with sales and operations departments to obtain information needed to engineer and manufacture orders.
- Provides support to sales through advisory input to proposals and presentations.
- Works with sales department in negotiation of terms and conditions, order changes and potential warranty or backcharge items.
- Assesses available technology for project management improvement.
- Provides supervision for the project management, bill of material and drafting functions.
