GranStone is one of Ottawa’s leading renovation and stone countertop fabrication companies. We specialize in custom renovations of kitchens, bathrooms as well as basements.
Job duties:
- Work closely with Granstone employees in order to assist with technical problems and troubleshooting problems that they may have with computer hardware and software;
- Providing remote technical support to clients on the service of custom design by our online tools;
- Assist in investigating technical issues, recording incidents and escalating when necessary;
- Assisting with installing, supporting and maintaining hardware and software, including managing user accounts for the company’s SaaS applications;
- Assisting with management of user accounts and subscriptions for licensed software;
- Creating and maintaining documentation for IT systems, processes and troubleshooting guides;
- Forwarding improvement or suggestion on the subscribed software or online tools to reduce the technical problems and improve our quality of service to clients.
Requirements:
- College diploma or above education in computer science, computerized systems, software engineering, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in technical support with external clients is required. Experience in construction, decoration fields will be preferred.
- Strong communication skills, client oriented approach based on respect and attention to detail
- Investigative mind and problem solving skills
- Ability to efficiently manage priorities, ability to work on multiple issues simultaneously, in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
- Team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
- Must be available to work a few hours on evenings or weekends occasionally to assist clients 7 days a week
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
