Position Overview:
As a Salon Apprentice, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the salon while gaining valuable hands-on experience and training in various salon services. You will assist senior stylists, colorists, and other salon professionals in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized salon environment. Responsibilities:
Assist senior stylists and salon professionals in providing a wide range of salon services, including haircuts, styling, coloring, treatments, and other beauty treatments.
Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued throughout their salon experience.
Shampoo, condition, and prepare clients' hair for styling, following specific instructions and techniques provided by senior stylists.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping hair, washing and sterilizing equipment, and restocking supplies as needed.
Perform basic salon tasks such as folding towels, washing capes, and tidying up salon stations after each client.
Learn and apply proper salon hygiene practices to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for both clients and staff.
Assist in mixing hair color, applying hair treatments, and preparing clients for chemical services under the guidance of experienced stylists.
Observe and learn various cutting, styling, and coloring techniques from senior stylists, actively seeking opportunities to improve your skills and knowledge.
