Hopewell Residential currently has a full-time opportunity for a Communications Coordinator to join our team.
Reporting:
This position will report directly to the Marketing & Research Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
The Communications Coordinator is responsible for planning, managing and executing Hopewell Residential (Hopewell) Inbound and Social projects and campaigns. The coordinator will be creative, yet analytical, with the ability to report on campaign successes and objectives, nimbly adapting in real-time to ensure optimal project performance. Duties of the position include:

Manage all social media channels according to content plan and social media strategy;

Help develop inbound marketing efforts including email strategy and nurture activities, website copy and more;

Maintain brand voice tailored to the end user, with a focus on accessibility and ease of understanding;

Produce marketing communications material including sales collateral items, company brochures, testimonials, event invitations, blogs, surveys and more;

Create, manage and send corporate communications including media releases, speaking notes, interview planning and more;

Develop, manage and track campaign budgets with a close eye for accuracy;

With support of your manager, oversee, create and deliver Pardot and Salesforce items, including emailers, automated campaigns and reporting;

With a designer, develop and execute a wide range of Marketing project items, including emailers, creative assets, and sales and marketing support materials;

Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather input for content development;

Stay up to date with social media trends and content writing best practices to optimize;

Assist with the preparation and submission of all industry-related award submissions;

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
About You:
You are social media savvy and you love to think about how to break through the noise on platforms like Instagram and Facebook. You know comms success isn’t achieved by talking about what businesses want to talk about – we’re successful by talking about what the customer wants to talk about. That’s why you think like the customer threw an empathetic approach, combined with a strong understanding of Marketing and Communications fundamentals. Your creative mind, excellent writing skills and top-notch communications abilities are matched only by your eagle eye on spelling and grammar. PS. We put a spelling mistake in here. In general, you are emotionally intelligent, resourceful, results-focused and energetic, with a positive disposition and orientation towards outstanding and collaborative Marketing teamwork.
You have experience in a fast-paced role where you were independently and successfully managing numerous high-priority projects, campaigns and tasks. You have a proven track record in collaborating in a dynamic environment and are highly detail oriented.
Finally, you are self-directed, innovative and tech-savvy, with:

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing, business, or related field. Don’t have this, but do have great, relevant experience? Reach out – we’d love to chat;

1-2+ years of progressive experience in the Marcom field;

A track record of marketing success from your previous role(s), with examples of social and inbound projects and content you have developed;

Ability to identify and manage conflicting priorities;

Superior organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple, deadline-oriented priorities;

Previous experience within the development or residential construction industry considered an asset;

Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines;

A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle;

Understanding and working knowledge of Pardot considered an asset;

Knowledge of and interest in the competitive environment.
Working Conditions:
Traditional core office hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This position will occasionally require attendance at events and show home openings outside of regular work hours, including evenings and weekends. Some travel will be required.
