We are looking to add a Marketing Manager to add to our team. The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Account Strategist and Project Coordinator to achieve success. A large focus of this role is client and team communication, innovative thinking, and creative problem solving. We are seeking a well-rounded individual who has proven success in marketing strategies and leadership, who is comfortable in a sales space, and gets excited to bring their own creativity to all accounts that they touch. The boring stuff, what you’ll do…
- Lead marketing campaigns across the organization, utilizing diverse acquisition channels
- Implement and report on all marketing initiatives, ensuring their success
- Develop and implement valuable comprehensive marketing plans, encompassing both online and offline channels
- Attend various client and production meetings
- Make recommendations that align with client objectives and KPI’s
- Define project budgets, scope, and timelines. Ensure projects are on time and on budget (including onboarding)
- Manage expectations through effective and timely communication (internal and external)
- Delegate individual and department tasks and responsibilities
- Media buying with both traditional and digital media
- Sales to new and existing clients, including RFPs. You'll need to innovate ways to infuse marketing into the sales process.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and growth opportunities
- Make objective and timely decisions based on data and trends
- Meet with existing customers regularly to ensure the highest level of communication and customer satisfaction is achieved
Must Have/Deal Breakers
- 5+ years of marketing experience within an agency
- 2+ years of sales experience within an agency
- 2+ years of management or team leadership experience within an agency
- Experience with media buying (both traditional and digital)
- Well-rounded understanding of copywriting, SEO, online ads, and print
- Local to Edmonton and a valid driver’s license

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing
