Job Description
ADGA Group Consultants Inc. is hiring a Business Continuity Management Consultant to play a vital role in supporting our clients in developing and implementing effective Business Continuity Programs.
Your responsibilities will encompass a range of activities, including Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Plan development, BCP Management Policy formulation, and conducting Training & Tabletop Exercises.
Key Responsibilities:

Engage with internal stakeholders to design, develop, and implement the Business Continuity Program, including governance documents, processes/procedures, models, and tools.

Conduct research and analysis for key program initiatives and projects, including data gathering, cost-benefit analysis, and user requirements.

Utilize gathered and analyzed data to prepare business cases and Requests for Proposal/Information.

Assess the effectiveness of emergency preparedness programs through research and analysis, recommending strategies for program enhancements in alignment with industry best practices.

Actively participate in projects and initiatives aimed at advancing the Emergency Management & Business Continuity Programs.

Develop, implement, and deliver key program projects, including emergency role training, exercises, and program audits as required.

Summarize information for review by key stakeholders and maintain reporting mechanisms to support incident response.

Support internal stakeholders in influencing business units to develop and sustain incident management plans/procedures aligned with the client's corporate Emergency Management & Business Continuity program.
Qualifications
-
University degree in emergency management, business, engineering, or related discipline.

Preference given to candidates with one or more of the following designations: Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP), Associate Emergency Manager (AEM), and/or Project Management Professional (PMP).

Knowledge and experience of work in the Government of Canada environment.

Knowledge of relevant emergency management/preparedness legislation, regulations, and standards.

Excellent research, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Strong data management skills.

Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong planning, analytical, and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities in a dynamic project environment.

Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Experience in compiling and presenting reports to executive branches
