CNC Programmer Night Shift

Lynden Door Canada of Yarrow, BC is currently hiring for an experienced CNC Machine Programmer/Operator. The role is responsible for operating a CNC (HOMAG) wood router machine and programming from door hardware drawings, and other woodworking equipment to manufacture doors and millwork.
This position is Monday to Thursday, from 3:00pm - 1:30am. The hourly rate is dependent on experience.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A CNC PROGRAMMER
-
Prior experience in programming is a requirement
-
Ability to read and program machine from door hardware drawings is a requirement
-
Experience with a wood router CNC machine is a requirement
-
Woodwop software experience is an asset
-
Carpentry/woodworking experience is a requirement
-
Mathematical aptitude and understanding of imperial measurements to the 1/32 of an inch
-
Physical ability to safety lift up to 50 lbs.

Able to stand and / or be on your feet for an entire shift

Be comfortable and safely using the equipment

Willing to be cross trained in all areas of production

Willing to take direction
-
Willingness to pursue additional training to enhance job skills
