Mr. Swirl the Friendly Plumber has been servicing the Lower-Mainland for over 20 years and we are looking for a motivated Marketing Specialist to further advance and develop our marketing department! We are looking for a passionate, creative, and organized specialist to support Mr. Swirl’s SEO and expand all media avenues of marketing and creative presence.
Job Description:
- Overseeing the company’s social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
- Researching appropriate topics and creating blog postings for SEO
- Proactively creating future media posts
- Tracking and reporting CRO & UX
- Creating and sending out email & sms campaigns
- Ensuring deadlines and targets are met
- Attention to detail and style of the company’s brand and image to ensure consistency
- Working within WordPress
- Continuously improving and tracking our marketing presence
- Protecting online presence and continuing to display our brand positively
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated to achieve goals
- The right candidate must have completed social media, SEO, and web development marketing courses
- At least 3 years of experience in digital marketing
- Strong Software Skills (Divi Elegant, Microsoft Office, Adobe, WordPress, etc.)
- Running all projects and tasks through our programs and meeting deadlines
- Highly Knowledgeable in SEO & web development
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Able to take direction and work individually to complete projects on schedule.
- Collaborate well within a team atmosphere

The rate of pay depends on the extent of previous experience and qualifications such as web development, Google analytics, IT experience, etc.
