The Role
As Edge’s Digital Marketing Coordinator - Yearbook, you will play a key role in developing and executing all B2B and B2C digital marketing efforts for the company with a focus on yearbook. In this position, you will work closely with key departments – namely marketing communications, product, customer care, the yearbook team and sales – to develop, educate and execute ongoing campaigns and all digital activity.
To be successful as the Digital Marketing Coordinator - Yearbook, you will need to gain a thorough understanding of Edge’s various internal and external customers and develop meaningful campaigns that get results!
What you will focus on:

Supporting revenue generation through the creation of sophisticated email automation/lead generation campaigns

Execute digital and print ads that support lead generation and growth for the Yearbook division

Strategize, build, execute and measure all B2B and B2C communications such as email automation campaigns, newsletters, e-brochures, letters, etc.

Work with sales team to develop custom email campaigns throughout the year

Lead the process of ensuring content on Edge’s yearbook offering is current, accurate and effectively supports sales efforts

Management of social media channels (primarily Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, LinkedIn etc.) with input and support from the Digital Marketing Specialist, Brand Manager and Edge’s Customer Care team

Generate creative and engaging content, photos, videos and digital assets to support yearbook marketing to all of Edge’s customers (internal, B2B – schools, and B2C – students/parents)

Responsible for maintaining Edge’s B2C email database and compliance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and any other online legislation

Liaise with appropriate departments and stakeholders to create and disseminate a calendar of all digital marketing efforts (annual, quarterly and monthly views) that include social media content, B2B and B2C email parameters, copy, year-round offers, promotions etc.

Attend sales meetings to present Edge’s digital strategy for the upcoming quarter

Update Edge brand website ensuring content is accurate and updated by coordinating changes with IT and web partners where needed

Work with external translators to ensure all marketing campaigns are available at the same time in both English and French

Monitor social and marketing activities of competitors and other photo/lifestyle brands and industries

Initiate conversations and build relationships with influencers, bloggers and media

Review advertising, print, digital and other brand advertisements

Conduct ongoing B2B and B2C customer surveys to ensure Edge is delivering on its brand promise

Ensure leads and potential business opportunities are flagged and followed-up on by appropriate team members including all relevant feedback, reviews and news is disseminated to correct stakeholders

What we are looking for

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field of study

3+ years of experience in a related field

Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Strong project management and time management skills

Email automation experience (creation, execution and assessment)

Ability to work in a fast-paced, nimble environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Strong organizational ability and follow-through

Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Photo, video, digital and graphic design skills a plus
-
Jira or Atlassian product knowledge a plus
