The Marketing Manager is responsible for quality of execution in marketing materials produced that align with corporate branding, including the creation of marketing materials, create and maintain website and digital marketing strategy and service.
Job Description
Collaborate with the General Manager of Business Development to determine essential strategic approaches for sales and marketing. Advise and recommend on marketing strategies and business development activities and assist with the development of overall business development strategy to meet company objectives.
Design, develop and maintain the company’s branding, including image and creative content (print and digital advertising, website content and promotional materials), showing understanding and relevance for the target market, ensuring messages are effectively communicated.
Provide prompt responses and interventions to issues threatening the company’s product or brand image.
Remain current on industry trends, maintain sales and marketing materials including brochures, website, social media information. Assist with researching and identifying new market development opportunities. Manage advertising for magazines, print, online and tradeshows.
Collaborate with external suppliers, printers, website development, to ensure appropriate presentation of products to attract customers.
Plan, organize, attend and represent company products at tradeshows, promotional or special events.
Maintain inventory of marketing materials and promotional products and distribute as appropriate.
Develop and implement annual, quarterly and monthly marketing plans and analyze the results.
Give presentations and provide technical training and services for clients, agents and distributors, including designing and providing technical documents for clients as required. Answer questions about products.
Design, implement and assess market positioning of product series or single product and combination plan of product launches and adjust accordingly.
Develop and report the pricing plan of products, implement, assess and adjust the pricing plan as needed.
Collect, analyze and communicate marketing research and intelligence (including competitor intelligence). Conduct market analysis (market capacity, market segmentation and product positioning, market occupation, purchasing power, product’s life cycle, trend of changes of the product’s price, analysis of potential competitors, marketing strategies, and product sale volume, etc.)
Identify potential new markets to benefit the company’s long-term development, predict profitability and drive the marketing focus to expand throughout other markets.
Qualifications
Marketing Degree with a minimum of 3 years related industry experience.
Strong knowledge of marketing principles and all aspects of product development through to customer usage.
Demonstrated experience in the development and management of marketing activities and expanding market or sales territories.
An effective communicator with excellent written and verbal, presentation and interaction skills with strong customer service focus.
Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
Prior experience in managing a marketing and sales budget.
Strong creativity, innovation project management and decision making.
Ability to judge creative concepts and clearly communicate/collaborate creative direction to others.
Strengths in planning, organizing, prioritizing and managing multiple projects.
Good understanding of market (end clients) and product utilization.
Strong writing and proofreading skills.
Reliable, dependable and adaptable to changing priorities.
Experienced in MS Office, graphic design and other marketing related software tools.
Eexperienced in Digital Marketing is preferred.
Bilingual - Mandarin/English and working in multi culture environment are preferred.
Some travel may be required for events and tradeshows.
