Job Description
Are you looking for a role where you will truly make a difference and contribute to a growing industry in Canada? ECO Canada is looking for performance-driven individual to join the team immediately. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Training, the successful candidate will have expertise in learning program coordination, as well as a passion for the environment.
As a key member of the Learning team, the Learning Coordinator will be responsible for successful program delivery and supporting the development of ECO Canada’s training programs. While each member of ECO Canada has individual responsibilities, ECO takes a team-based approach. Everyone is encouraged to take ownership of his/her ideas and to see them through to completion, collaborating with key influencers as required.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the delivery and improvement of training programs to meet government funding requirements and revenue targets

Liaise with subject matter experts regarding instructional design and delivery

Make program improvements based on collecting and analyzing feedback, trending information and lessons learned

Host/moderate/facilitate instructor-led training (virtual or in person)

Prepare a monthly dashboard of summary statistics and reports

Respond to training inquiries, trouble-shooting problems with online courses and processing client purchasing transactions
- Support the Sales and Marketing team with promoting our learning by prospecting, marketing activities, and client outreach

Other relevant duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Highly organized in prioritizing work, multi-tasking, attention to detail, and consistently meeting deadlines

Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment

Ability to deal with change and adapt to new circumstances quickly

High proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), as well as general computer skills including file management, data entry, and troubleshooting

Experience in learning design and development (synchronous and asynchronous), and adult education (creation, and/or support, and/or facilitating)

Excellent command of the English language, with strong written and verbal communication skills

Bilingual (French) a definite asset
Education and Experience
- Post-secondary education in the field of education, business, marketing, communications, human services or a related discipline, or relevant experience

A minimum of 2 years’ experience coordinating training programs and/or Projects

Experience with Learning Management, Customer Relations, and/or Records Management systems in some/all of the following: administering Zoom, MS-Teams, GoToWebinar, Absorb, Articulate/Storyline/Rise, SharePoint, Monday, Miro, Shopify

Contract and/or Proposal writing is an asset

Previous experience in sales is an asset

Previous experience working in the environmental sector is an asset
This role is a temporary contract position until March 31, 2024.
ECO Canada offers the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement (minimum 3 days per week at the Calgary office and the option to work remotely for the remaining 2 days).
