As Product Management Specialist, you will provide Product Management and Applications Engineering support for General Purpose and Motion Control drives. Functionally reporting to the Product Management Manager, you will play an instrumental role in supporting the pre and post sales activities for the Motion Control business in Canada. You will also be responsible for supporting Drives Quotation Group. You will be passionate about exceeding customer expectations and working with a sense of urgency.
What will you do?
- The analysis of customer requirements and relating these requirements to the Product Management of Motion Control product portfolio
- Working closely with Siemens Sales Organization, Exclusive Industrial Distributors and Siemens Solution Partners, to demonstrate technical features and benefits of the portfolio
- You will also support our Drive Quotation team by providing support on preparing quotes, pricing analysis etc.
- The analysis of customer requirements and relating these requirements to the application using the Variable Frequency Drive product portfolio and other necessary literatures.
- Working closely with Siemens Sales Organization and Siemens Solution Partners, to demonstrate the Siemens value proposition and benefits of Siemens Drives portfolio to the potential customers.
- Your understanding of our value-added service offerings are paramount in partnering with customers to further understand their needs in order to provide them with a technical Consultative solution
What will you need to succeed?
- New graduate student from University in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Graduated within the last 1 year
- Excellent communication skills
- This role demands critical analytical and strategic thinking superior judgment and the ability to develop and deliver compelling plans mandates and reports
- Strong knowledge of Industrial applications involving Variable Frequency drives and Motion Control products
- Familiar with other Industrial Automation Platforms and Industrial networks
- Exceptional teaming communication and leadership skills are a must
- Track record of advancing marketing initiatives
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
