Our Global Workplace Investing (GWI) channel delivers services to our clients and their employees. Our vision is to become the lifelong Partner of choice for all an individual's and family's financial needs. The Global Communications & Engagement Function (GCE) plays an integral role in the development of GWI's business, brand and reputation. We focus on creating B2B2C communication and engagement programs that deliver agreed business objectives, advance employee value propositions (EVP) and contribute to employee behaviour change. In addition, we provide communication consulting services, content development and are accountable for the End-to-end engagement experience. Our aim is to engage clients and members through insight led, tailored effective, creative and innovative outcome based emotional communications which aim to improve member financial capability and confidence leading to better financial wellness outcomes.
About your role
Reporting to the Global Head of Communications and Engagement this role will play a pivotal in leading the definition and implementation of innovative omni channel engagement and communication strategies that deepen relationships, increase advocacy, minimises attrition and ultimately enhances overall customer lifetime value across WPFH.

Moreover, this role will serve as a bridge between Global Workplace Investing, Stock Plan Services, and our Personal Investing, Wealth, and Advice channels. The lifetime strategy encompasses a broad range of services, from Workplace ISA via payroll investing and Stock plan services to wealth and retirement advice.
About you
As an experienced practitioner in financial services communication in the UK, you will have knowledge of the regulatory environment and have a demonstrable track record of working collaboratively with compliance, risk, and legal partners. You will be fully versed in the recently introduced consumer duty rules and understand the communication implications.
This role will require a mindset that is flexible and open-minded, comfortable with being able to operate fluently in cross functional teams as the norm. Your team will be fully embedded into the lifetime engagement activities to partner with the head of Lifetime Engagement. This role will be ultimately accountable for the day-to-day activities of a small team of two direct reports and the operating model envisages high levels of delegation to define approach and delivery end to end activities against agreed outcomes and OKRs.
You will ideally be able to operate at both a strategic and tactical level with a track record of delivering with pace and precision. In some instances, you will work independently with the LE team, but most of the time you'll be working collaboratively in partnership with the wider GCE function, Personal Investing Marketing teams and central functions within our broader business. Critical to success in the role will be the close collaboration with counterpart communications and engagement teams in our sister company FMR in the US. Therefore, networking influencing and stakeholder skills are essential and the successful candidate will therefore have the gravitas and diplomacy necessary to deliver complex initiatives within an international matrix environment.
Core requirements :
Senior results driven financial services marketeer who can balance strategy with smart execution, with a proven delivery track record and broad communication, engagement, and marketing skills (strategic planning, campaign management, analytical, eye for detail and results driven).
Strong knowledge and experience in planning and executing effective multi - channel communication, engagement, and marketing strategies B2B2C.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the credibility and style to build respect and trust at all levels along with a culturally sensitive approach.
Resourceful self-starter with positive energy, enthusiasm, resilience to pressure, compassion and tenacity as we grow the Lifetime Engagement business
Flexible and open-minded, comfortable with being able to operate fluently in cross functional teams as the norm, has demonstrable impact and is willing to challenge the status quo and help develop and enable new agile ways of working.
Exposure to Advice, wealth or Stock plan propositions alongside broader Pension or investments beneficial.
Demonstrable digital marketing experience
Ability to work with remote/international teams to meet joint goals.
Strong understanding of market research and consumer insights to drive targeted marketing strategies.
Budget management skills and experience in optimising marketing spend.
Exposure to key marketing systems such as marketo and salesforce is preferable.
