SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Director of Sales will report to the President and or designate and will provide Sales leadership to WCSHM; ensuring the organization’s occupancy and revenue goals are met. The Senior Director Sales and Marketing leads and oversees all the sales activities of WCSHM.
This role will support the business by leading the development and execution of community-based sales and marketing plans and goal-setting. The Director of Sales will provide leadership, coaching, mentoring and training to the Support Office team members and Community based teams that are involved in sales.
Build strong relationships with external stakeholders to drive sales and awareness of the company within the public eye.
The Director of Sales will work collaboratively with other members of the Executive team in building a dynamic and sustainable organization culture of trust, integrity and service that will propel the growth of our people and revenue generation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Engage and mobilize your team to achieve the purpose, goals, objective and key results of the organization.

Be an engaged collaborative team player, developing and maintaining professional relationships that support and strengthen the WCSHM/organizational culture and purpose.

Model the values and leadership behaviours of WCSHM/organization and inspire other to do the same.

Lead all sales and marketing activists within Independent Living, Assisted Living and Long Term Care

Ensure occupancy targets are met or exceeded for the whole portfolio

Identify new revenue generation opportunities for the organization

Ensure a vibrant positive compassionate sales culture is cultivated across the organization

Community outreach and communication plans are developed and implemented
-
Development and manage sales and marketing budget
-
Training, mentoring, evaluating and coaching of sales leaders and teams
-
Ensure access to current and accurate market intelligence is maintained and acted upon promptly

Develop and nurture community and industry partnerships

Ensure the consistent adherence to brand standards

Oversee marketing and communication

QUALIFICATIONS:

Business degree, or equivalent experience and education
-
Must have at least 5 years of Sales experience, with sales team management experience

Strategic thinker and relationship builder

Must demonstrate knowledge of sales concepts, skills, processes, and programs

Strong organizational and time prioritization skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills
