Desired Skills and Experience:
-
Diploma in Technical Communications or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
-
1 to 2 years’ experience as a Technical Writer.
-
Experience in the electro-mechanical automation field is preferred.
-
Experience working for a company that manufacturers their own products is preferred.
-
Experience in an ISO or FDA cGMP Quality Management System would be an asset.
Essential Functions:
-
Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.

Maintain records and files of work and revisions.

Working with our technical staff, you are responsible for preparation of user, service and installation manuals for company products.

Research and develop an understanding of the end-user, service department and installation department’s requirements for the documents being generated.

Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers.

Select photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate material.
